My job responsibilities at Hurley ran the gamut of clothing expertise. I curated all women's graphics used in the printables line, accessories, swimwear and seasonal prints. Each season, I would research the current marketplace and collaborate with the other designers on innovative trend ideas specific to the Hurley customer. I designed the knit top bodies with appropriate fabrics developed while creating original graphics. I provided creative direction and inspiration for in-house and freelance graphic artists that best represented the entire look and feel of the season. It was important that I worked closely with other teams to achieve cohesive product that merchandised with the other categories.
